Actually I want to keep reading my* Agatha Raisins (I read Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden last night), but that must be getting a bit boring for anyone reading this blog ... I'll see what else I can come up with.
* I mean Jo's, because I borrowed them!

Anne,
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson, excellent and is now one of my top ten reads. If you like to Kill a Mocking Bird this book is a must, its a slow start but as the front of the book says " you start reaching the end and start feeling dismayed at the little number of pages that are left to read". Its one of those books I felt I did not want to end.
There is a write up on Wikepedia to tempt you.

If it's one of your top ten Ally, it must be worth reading! I do like To Kill a Mocking Bird so I must try this one. Off to look at the entry on Wikipedia now.

ReplyDeleteI have a copy of Snoe Falling on Cedars - it's one of my all time favourite reads. Funnily enough I saw it in my bookshelf yesterday and nearly took it for you, but assumed you owuld have read it. It's wonderful!! Agree about the slow start, but well worth that. It's truly atmospheric. Will get it to you asap. Jo
Now that's what I call service! Thanks Jo.
